The story of Meher or Meherban is about a stepfather who gets his daughters married multiple times for his greed of money. He keeps heavy amount on his daughter’s Meher. And after sometimes he forces his daughter to leave her husband and remarry. If the girls refuses their father he physically abuse/torture their mother. In front of community/society he comes out as an ideal father so no one in the community believes the reality. The eldest daughter commits suicide due to her father’s behavior. The younger daughter is rebellious and falls in love. She stands against the will of her father and eventually reveals his real face in front of everyone. And that is how the family gets rid of this evil man.
