It’s about a young woman named Kanwal Baloch, played by Saba Qamar. Kanwal is shown as a rebellious female lead that does not conform to the misogynistic, discriminatory pillars set by society and wants to get into the spotlight, show biz and its glamorous lifestyle as she herself hails from a village, a pre-dominantly male social system. Saba Qamar seems as if she was made to play this role, perfectly resonating the gravity of every situation, showing how she reacts in peril or either in happiness. She’s has done a bang on job at playing the complex character she’s been given to fit in. Baaghi as a drama surely is one with a gripping hook to it and a multi-dimensional storyline which leaves the viewer’s asking for more.

YNH Films and Urdu 1 Pictures released the teaser trailer of their upcoming film ‘Mehrunisa V Lub U’. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas across Pakistan this Eid ul Fitr. The film is produced by the producers of Wrong No., YNH FILMS, and shall be distributed worldwide by URDU 1 PICTURES on Eid ul Fitr, 2017. The film pairs talented Danish Taimur with the ravishing Sana Jawaid in the backdrop of a busy junction in Karachi. The lyrics are penned by the legend ‘GULZAR’ sb himself and the music is composed by infamous SEEMAB SEN. The powerful lyrics of Gulzar are bound to leave the listener mesmerized by the simplicity of words and magnitude of thought. The film combines fun, love, compassion, music, belief and patriotism, all that is needed to live a life at its fullest, to form an inspirational journey of how we can embrace diversity and love whilst living in a community. The film is an all and all Eid Release with comedy, action, drama and masala infused in a Yasir Nawaz-esque fun filled recipe.
The first look of the film was launched at the prestigious FPW on the eve of 22nd February. The principal cast and makers set the ramp on blaze as they wore Zaheer Abbas to unveil the first look of Mehrunisa, V Lub U. The audience were treated to powerful vocals of the infamous Sukhwinder Singh in a romantic melody; Tu Hi Tu.
